SHOWstudio.com - Project:Eniko

In a collaboration with SHOWstudio.com and filmmaker Barnaby Roper we developed a small Flash based application that allowed users to move through clips of model Eniko Mihalik as she shakes, shimmies and grooves in the best of the season's fashion's from emerging designers.

Featuring looks by Alexander Wang, Altuzarra, Proenza Schouler and Jen Kao the application allowed users to interact via their keyboard to hand-craft their very own fashion film edit(orial). The best part? Users unique edits can then be linked, emailed and shared in this ultimate egalitarian dissemination of New York style.

View a sample of the action here.

Gallo Family Vineyards

As part of a full E. & J. Gallo World Cup cocktail campaign we were approached to produce a video i-dent showcasing 'Rosito', E. & J. Gallo's White Grenache Rosé.
A dynamic and vibrant motion piece captured the essence of summer cocktails with berries, ice cubes and bubbles, showcasing the rosé as the nation's favourite. In conjunction with the wider campaign, the final i-dent was used by Sainsbury's, Co-op, Mysupermarket and Gallo internal comms.

View the i-dent here.

Easter Fun

Working with our friends over at Digital Rebel, we were asked to build an Easter themed campaign site for Universal Pictures. Aimed largely at children, users could upload an image of themselves inside a selection of cartoon bodies which they could then colour in. Coupled with this users could create their own Easter themed e-cards with themselves and their favourite characters and send this onto their friends, social network pages or just print out for the fridge–eggciting stuff!

Final Fantasy XIII

With this being the first time the Final Fantasy franchise has appeared on the Xbox platform Final Fantasy XIII was always going to be one of Xbox's biggest releases of 2010. Working closely with Xbox we were tasked with a European wide campaign promoting Final Fantasy XIII on the Xbox 360 platform as well as driving user awareness and purchase intent of the console and Final Fantasy XIII branded bundle.

We went about creating a Twitter based campaign to highlight the global nature of Xbox's popularity and it's gaming community by focusing on Final Fantasy XIII Xbox related tweets. This helped to illustrate the high level of anticipation for the title and in turn helped build purchase intent for gamers new to the Xbox platform as well as owners of other consoles looking for a reason to switch. All of this was wrapped up in a fully localised, highly dynamic Flash site that displayed tweets in real time, allowed users to post their own tweets up via the site as well as giving them access to all the great reasons to own an Xbox 360! Coupled with an extensive European banner campaign the site received enormous amounts of traffic with high user engagement.

If this buzz is anything to go by Final Fantasy XIII should be a massive success with it's first outing on the Xbox.

Westlife

Tasked with promoting Westlife's latest release 'Where We Are' we designed and built a small SMS campaign site that allowed fans a once in a lifetime opportunity to text in their messages directly to the band. The texts, displayed in realtime were read by the boys with the answers to the best questions being published at a later date. Coupled with a media player allowing users to check out samples from the latest album the campaign was a great success!

10 years ago Kamaal Ibn John Fareed (Q-Tip) produced an album which was ahead of its time...it's time is now.'

Hooking up with Sony Music, we produced a quick, one-stop dynamic page to showcase Q-Tip's long delayed album 'Kamaal The Abstact'.

Users can dive in and ask Q-Tip a question, enter an exclusive prize-draw to win iconic 'money can't buy prizes' as well as sample and embed the album in their own web pages.

Staak are proud to support independent music and to this end we kindly donated our services for the creation of the new Independents Day '09 site. Independents Day or ID:09, as it's called, shines a spotlight on the exciting and diverse talent of the independent music sector, a sector first home to artists including The Beatles, Elvis and Coldplay and still home to the likes of Radiohead, Vampire Weekend, Arctic Monkeys and Bjork, plus thousands of rising stars.

With a clean, uncluttered design, visitors can easily check out all there is to know about the event from the bands and labels involved to buying tickets and getting the latest news.
